The Curator of National Art Gallery(Malaysia)Became an Honorary Member of ISSA

Recently, a British artist Hock Aun Teh's solo exhibition was held at the National Art Gallery of Malaysia. In this event, Dr. Mohamed Najib Ahmad Dawa, curator of the National Art Gallery of Malaysia, accepted the honorary certificate of ISSA and became an honorary member of ISSA.

 

Dr. Najib said that he was honored to be an honorary member of ISSA. He hoped that National Art Gallery(Malaysia)and ISSA could cooperate more deeply. He also hoped that he would have the opportunity to visit  and feel the unique charm of the sculpture symposium.

The National Art Gallery of Malaysia

 

Established in Kuala Lumpur on August 28, 1958, the National Art Gallery of Malaysia is one of the most famous art galleries in Southeast Asia. Its unique architecture combines Malaysian traditional architectural features with modern architectural elements and becomes the most modern art venue in the region.

As Malaysia's official art institution, since the 1960s, the National Art Gallery of Malaysia has been supporting local artists through various exhibitions at home and abroad.
