Making Sculptures in the Serene Mountains, the Ambassador of China Came to Visit

    The 8th Berane Art Symposium was held form July 21 to 28 in the City of Berane, north of Montenegro.

    The symposium was co-hosted by China and Montenegro. Besides the two host countries, participating artists also came from Lithuania, Romania and Serbia. During the symposium, Ambassador of China to Montenegro came from the capital to visit the Chinese representatives. 

There were a total of 10 artists who participated in the symposium. Among them, the three Chinese representatives, Zhang Songtao, Liu Yang and Song Mingcheng were sculptors. 

Berane Art Symposium became a member of ISSA in 2018. Though the symposium, the alliance helped promote the communication between China and the City of Berane. After his visit with the Chinese representatives, the Ambassador of China to Montenegro went to the city hall of Berane and met with the Mayor. At the city hall, the representatives were presented the Certificate of Attendance by both the Ambassador and the Mayor. In addition, Liu Yang, the secretary general of ISSA, presented the Mayor with the Certificate of Honor, announced him as an honorary member of ISSA.
