ISSA Secretary General Met with the Minister of Culture of Montenegro

2019 July 24, the Montenegrin Minister of Culture Aleksandar Bogdanovic met with the Secretary General of ISSA Liu Yang at Cetinje, the Old Royal Capital of Montenegro. They exchanged gifts and Liu presented Bogdanovic with the Certificate of Honor on behalf of the Alliance.

    The Minister of Culture Aleksandar Bogdanovic met with the Secretary General Liu Yang and the Executive Member Luka Radojevic of the International Sculpture Symposium Alliance(ISSA).


    Liu Yang, the Secretary General of ISSA, also a renowned artist in China, expressed satisfaction with his stay in Montenegro. Liu welcomed the Montenegrin sculpture symposium to the alliance and hoped for further collaborations with Montenegro. 


    Liu Yang is one of the founders of ISSA. As of now, the alliance has brought together over 400 members from 80 countries. Though the hard work of its staff and members, the alliance helps achieve artistic exchange on a global scale.


    The Executive Member Luka Radojevic is also the art director of the 2019 Berane Art Symposium. Radojevic expressed his determination to keep improving the working condition of the symposium to be in better service of the participating artists.


During the meeting, Minister Bogdanovic stressed the importance of the 2019 Berane Art Symposium to the Montenegrin north, as well as the symposium's profound implication for the establishment of international cultural cooperation. Minister Bogdanovic emphasized the necessity of artistic events like the Berane Art Symposium, for they were not only beneficial to the acquisition of new artistic experiences, but also great for making connections between artists from all over the world.


    After the meeting, Liu Yang presented Minister Bogdanovic with the Certificate of Honor on behalf of the Alliance, announcing that the Minister had officially become an honorary member of the alliance.
