The 20th and last Cerisy-la-Forêt International Sculpture Symposium was held in Normandy, France from September 6 to 21. Six sculptors were invited, they were each from Bulgaria, China, France, Serbia, Spain and Taiwan (China). During the symposium, concerts, book fair and film festival were held. Every week, local students came to experience the cultural fair. Media such as France 3 and the European Times did reports about the symposium.

Materials used for the symposium were granite, marble and weathering steel. The sculptures range from 1.5 to 6 meters tall. Among them, the six-meter steel sculpture is the tallest sculpture ever installed at the symposium.

The 20 years of Cerisy-la-Forêt International Sculpture Symposium bears witness to a glorious history. Nearly a hundred sculptors have contributed for the collection, they are installed in the sculpture park near the city center among other locations. Xavier, the organizer of the symposium is also in charge of many other artistic and cultural event in the Normandy region. He is the director of the local art center, and is responsible for their artist residency program.
