In 2025, the International Sculpture Symposium not only hosted 42 sculpture workshops but also launched
the ISSATALK and ISSA Caravan initiatives, while the ISSA Messenger Program expanded. Heads of state from
France, Morocco, and Bosnia and Herzegovina engaged with the alliance projects to varying degrees.
1. The ISSA Caravan project in France received a personal letter from President Macron, acknowledging its
contributions to French arts education.
2. Prince Albert II of Monaco unveiled a sculpture by Xavier Gonzalez, ISSA French Committee member.
3. Algeria hosted its first international sculpture symposium; the Minister of Culture and Arts became an
ISSA Honorary member.
4. The Vice President of the Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina, met with the ISSA Secretary-General
at the Presidential Palace and was appointed an ISSA Honorary member.
5. The Fine Arts Associations of the five Central Asian nations and Pakistan's Silk Road Cultural Center
collectively joined ISSA. The presidents of the five associations and Pakistan's former Minister of Culture
became ISSA members.
6. ISSA Pakistan member Jamal Shah received France's Order of Arts and Letters.
7. ISSA Oman member Ali AlJabri's sculpture was featured on the 1 Omani Rial banknote.
8. With the addition of new member countries including Uruguay, Algeria, Jordan, Burkina Faso, Palestine,
and Indonesia, the Alliance now comprises 70 member nations and 159 branches.
9. ISSA-certified international sculptors reached 202, with one artist achieving 4+ certification.
10. The ISSA Youth Development Messenger Program held its third session in Algeria and the fourth in
Bosnia and Herzegovina.
11. ISSA launched the educational outreach initiative ISSATALK, held this year in Poland, Tunisia, Spain,
and other countries.
12. "ISSA2025" organized 42 sculpture symposiums across 26 countries.
