The Olofstrom International Stone Sculpture Residency (OISSR) is aimed to promote the stone industry of Sweden as well as stimulate the field of sculpture in particular stone sculpture. The residency is a collaboration between Dutch / British sculptor Chris Peterson and Ted Zaar, owner of the company Zaar stone in Sweden. The event will be hosted on the grounds of this company and use the high-tech facilities that they own and operate.
