ISSA core member,sculptor TOBEL won the "Grand Prize of the Biennale" in Resistencia, Chaco, Argentine Republic

The Sculptor Symposium in Resistencia / Argentina grew to a nationwide mega event with 400 000 visitors in just 7 days.

The highlight of every biennial is the award ceremony with the highly-endowed 1st prize of an international jury "Gran Ganador". TOBEL has earned this award already in 2010.

The First Prize winners of the previous Biennials organized between years 1998 and 2016 were  invited to this year's anniversary.

On Saturday, June 30, 2018 was a live broadcasts on television and in front of about 10,000 guests: "....and the winner is: TOBEL, Germany, Work: Sound of the Universe".

The Champagne corks popping,

TOBEL let himself be carried away by the South American temperament, and was celebrated as we know from victories in car racing.

A little sorrow, TOBEL could dedicate the Gala-dinner only after 2 hours interviews of television and Rundfunktails. But who has ever been a guest in Argentina, will know, no one has to starve here!
