The New Year has arrived. Looking back to 2018, ISSA International Sculpture Symposium Alliance has achieved fruitful results.
Over the past year, symposium members of ISSA has increased to 73, across 41 countries and regions.
Personal members of ISSA has increased to 406, across 86 countries.
ISSA 2018 series stations have gone through 25 symposiums.
In January, Liu Yang, Secretary-General of ISSA, won the award of 2017 "Max is Outdoors" .
In January, Robin David, core member of ISSA, won the“Kalidas Samman” famous art award from Madhya Pradesh Government of India that for outstanding performance in the field of sculpture.
In March, Liu Yang was awarded the Goodwill Ambassador of Yukuhashi City, Japan.
In March, Marie-Jose Leroux, core member of ISSA, was awarded the Medal of Honorary Citizenship by the Canadian Minister of Culture.
In April, ISSA began to recruit individual members.
In June, Andriy Volodymyrovych Chebykin, President of the National Academy of Fine Arts of Ukraine, became an honorary member of ISSA.
In June,TOBEL, core member of ISSA, won the "Grand Prize of the Biennale" in Resistencia, Chaco, Argentine Republic.
In August, Darko Pajovic, Ambassador of the Republic of Montenegro to China, became an honorary member of ISSA.
In August, Jing Yidan, a famous Chinese host, became an honorary member of ISSA.
In September, President Mikhail V. IGNATIEV of Republic of Chuvashia became an honorary member of ISSA.
In October, Anatoly A. Lyubavin, President of the Russian National Surikov Academy of Fine Arts, became an honorary member of ISSA.
In October, Fernando Lugris, Ambassador of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay to China, became an honorary member of ISSA.
In November, the promotional video of ISSA released online.
In December, Salvatore Bitonti, President of the Academy of Fine Arts in Turin, Italy, became an honorary member of ISSA.
