The 4th Guadalajara International Wood Sculpture Symposium was successfully held in Mexico from April 3 to 7. 5 artists from Germany, Uruguay, Spain and Mexico  created exquisite works of art in 5 days.

Guadalajara International Wood Sculpture Symposium was founded in 2015 and is hosted in Bosque Colomos, Guadalajara, Mexico. Organiser Ana Paula Luna said the timber used in the camp was recovered from dead trees in Guadalajara.

The sculptures will remain for a year in Tepatitln, until the Next Edition of the Symposium, when will be replaced by a new and relocated to Metropolitan Park.

The symposium is open to the public. "The idea is to let artists and people or audiences understand the process of sculpture creation," Luna said.
