The Frist Ever Metal Symposium in Marsa Matruh

The first Marsa Matruh Metal Sculpture Symposium officially concluded on November 22 in Marsa Matruh, a town northeast of Egypt, along its Mediterranean coast.

The symposium was hosted by the Egyptian Minister of Culture, who appointed the famous sculptor, ISSA associate Omar Toussoun as the symposium’s official curator. Besides Toussoun, ten artists were selected as the participants of the first ever Marsa Matruh Metal Symposium. The success of the event was widely broadcasted by local media.
