Open Call: International Wood Sculpture Symposium in Ringkobing

THE 10th INTERNATIONAL WOODSCULPTURE SYMPOSIUM IN RINGKØBING, scheduled to commence on July 19 in Denmark, has officially announced an open call for application. The application must be submitted no later than February 20, and the final selection of 10 to 12 sculptors will be published shortly after March 10. 

Participants will be provided oak logs, electric saws, power supplies, and finishing materials to aid their creative process. The final sculptures are expected to be finely finished, abstract or semi-abstract. After the symposium, all pieces will be up for sale, and the profits will be used to sponsor future events.
