ISSA Italy: 24 Years of Udine Sculpture Symposium

As one of the oldest Sculpture Symposiums in Italy, Udine FVG International Sculpture Symposium kicked back into gear after last year's break due to the pandemic.

The Sculpture Symposium lasted for 17 days and concluded on September 19th. A total of eight sculptors from Serbia, Ireland, Mexico, Argentina, Venezuela and Italy attended the event. They brought works with different styles and languages, from metaphor to abstraction, from naturalist composition to geometrics, from surrealism to narrative sculpture.

For 17 days, the nearby Reana del Rojale Sculpture Park was turned into an open-air studio, and local residents once again had the opportunity to meet with sculptors from around the world. After work hours, the locals invited the artists dinners, and some even contributed their own private swimming pool as a place for artists to relax and entertain.
