Sculptor Featured in Xiaomi Mobile Phone Ad

Secretary General of the International Sculpture Symposium Alliance(ISSA) and international sculptor Liu Yang was recently featured in an Xiaomi mobile phone advertisement, marking a cooperation between an internationally renowned mobile phone company and an internationally renowned artist.

Xiaomi Inc. has grown exponentially over the years, both in its reputation and sales volume, which was the world's largest in 2021. The advertisement is based on the personal story of Liu Yang, and starring the sculptor himself. It was filmed in Liu's hometown of Harbin and Xuexiang, and it is titled "The Sculptor of Ice and Snow". Once the advertisement was launched on social media, it hit 600,000 views in just over a day. While promoting the product, this collaboration also allowed Xiaomi users to learn more about the the world of sculpture.
