Minister of Culture of Honduras and Secretary General of ISSA attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony

The first San Nicolas Sculpture Symposium was held on May 30 in San Nicolas, Santa Barbara, western Honduras. At the opening ceremony, the Minister of Culture of Honduras, Annarella Vélez, and the Secretary General of ISSA, Liu Yang, cut the ribbon for the event.

Honduras is a country that has just established diplomatic relations with China, and during the opening ceremony, the Minister also highlighted the friendship between the two countries and welcomed the presence of Chinese sculptors. Honduras is a Central American country , and with the support of the country's Minister of Culture and the promotion of the International Sculpture Symposium Alliance, this sculpture symposium will be an influential cultural event in Central America.

The opening ceremony of the event was very characteristic of the Americas, in addition to the Latin style music and dance, the flags of the artists of each country were hand-drawn by the students of the local art school, and the opening ceremony ended with a carnival parade of artists and local people in the city.
