Hulan River - Sun Moon Lake: Cross-Strait Sculpture Exhibition Opens in Hulan

 On June 1, relying on the Harbin Hulan Xiao Hong Cultural Week, with the theme of Taiwan's Sun Moon Lake 

and Harbin's Hulan River, the International Sculpture Symposium Alliance, together with the Taiwan Affairs

 Office of the Heilongjiang Provincial People's Government and the People's Government of the Hulan District 

of Harbin, co-organized the "Hulan River - Sun Moon Lake" - Cross-Strait Sculpture Exhibition, which opened

 in Hulan. Yushun Art Museum opened the exhibition, which will last until June 30th.

The exhibition featured more than 40 works by 30 sculptors from both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Guests 

attending the event included not only leaders of the organizers and artists, but also included famous writer 

Liang Xiaosheng, musician You Hongfei, explorer Lei Densheng and other celebrities from Harbin.

The exhibition was supported by Taiwan Wood Sculpture Association, Nantou Drunken Stone Creative 

Association, and Hulan Yushun Art Museum. This event is the first cross-strait sculpture art exhibition held in 

recent years in Heilongjiang Province, and is also a large-scale cross-strait cultural exchange activities 

organized by Heilongjiang Province. Participating artists are Taiwan Wood Carving Association, Nantou 

Drunken Stone Association, Taiwan Sculpture Society, Hualien Stone Carving Society, Taichung Sculpture 

Society, Tunghai University, Taitung University, Huafan University, Jinan University, Changhua University, 

Donghua University artists on behalf of, as well as from Heilongjiang, Jilin, Liaoning, Beijing, Hebei, Shanxi, 

Shandong, Jiangsu, Anhui, Zhejiang, Hunan, Xinjiang and other 12 provinces, municipalities and Artists from 

the autonomous region were represented.
