Uzbekistan's Minister of Environment AZIZ becomes an honor member of ISSA

During the Marble International Sculpture Symposium in Uzbekistan, which took place between August and September, the Alliance's Secretary General, Liu Yang, presented the Minister of the Environment and the President of the State Academy of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan with a certificate of honorary membership in Tashken in appreciation of their support for the international sculpture program.

 The Marble International Sculpture Symposium is a large-scale international cultural event signed by the President of Uzbekistan and organized by the Ministry of Environment and Ecological Protection, with the National Academy of Fine Arts of Uzbekistan and the National Association of Fine Arts as co-organizers. The theme of the event was Art Saves the Planet, a way of drawing attention to ecological problems through art. At the closing ceremony of the event, Liu Yang, the Secretary General of the Alliance, presented certificates of honor, gratitude, membership and alliance to Aziz Abdukhakimov, the Minister of Environment, Akmal Nuridinov, the Director of the Academy of Fine Arts, Ibragim Valikhodjaev, the Chairman of the National Association of Fine Arts, and Nasima, the head of the event. Also present at the closing ceremony were representatives of the Alliance, including ISSA's Syrian member Aktham Abdulhamid, Turkish member Hakan Sengonul, Georgian member Valerian Jikia, as well as more than 20 international and local sculptors.
