Five Sculpture Symposiums Join ISSA, Two from Africa

Recently, five sculpture symposiums from Africa, Asia and Europe have been authorized to join the Alliance. Algeria,

Burkina Faso, Jordan, and Palestine are the first sculpture symposiums to join the Alliance. The Algerian Sculpture

Symposium, the first one in the country's history, is supported by the Ministry of Culture. Burkina Faso is the second

sculpture symposium in sub-Saharan Africa, the first being Kenya. The other European sculpture symposium is from

the Czech Republic, home of Skoda, the automobile city. It is a sculpture symposium where metal is the main material

and has been around for 12 years. By now, the Union has 148 branches in 64 countries.
