The five Central Asian nations' fine arts associations and Pakistan collectively joined ISSA

On September 15, Xi'an Academy of Fine Arts hosted the "China-Central Asia Sculpture Exhibition" and

the "China-Pakistan Art Exchange Exhibition" at the Art Museum on its Yanta Campus. During this period,

the presidents of the artists' associations from the five Central Asian countries, along with the head of

Pakistan's Silk Road Cultural Center, were concurrently appointed as committee members representing

their respective countries within the alliance.

Unlike previous committee members who served as heads of individual symposiums, these new

members are organizers of extensive art activities in their home countries. Among them,

Ibragim Valihodjaev, President of the Uzbekistan Artists' Association, had already become

an ISSA committee member two years prior due to his involvement in three consecutive sculpture

symposiums.

New committee members include:

- Syed Jamal Shah, Director of the Silk Road Cultural Center in Pakistan (former Minister of Culture)

- Zhubaniyazov Umirbek, President of the Kazakhstan Artists Association

- Charymurat Yazmuradov, President of the Turkmenistan Artists Association

- Nargis Khamidova, President of the Tajikistan Artists Association

- Usubaliev Taalaibek, President of the Kyrgyzstan Artists Association

- Nasima Djuraeva, ISSA Executive Committee Member for Central Asia
