Mahgoub al Magboul

Visual Artist, sculptor

Mahgoub al Magboul is a Sudanese Visual Artist (Sculptor/Painter), He holds B.Sc. of Fine Arts, (First Class Degree) from College of Fine & Applied Arts in Sudan (1996). He also finished his high Studies degree in Archaeology in 1997. He was working as teacher assistant at the College of Fine & Applied Art in Sudan from 1998–1996.

al Magboul addresses many of the humanitarian issues in his art, (sculpture and installation), and be- lieves that the visual art is an important message to create a cultural convergence in the communities, especially those that suffer by conflicts caused by ethnic and religious pluralism in the same society. He is strives to carry his message for rapprochement and dialogue between communities, which he hopes to provide a margin of freedoms and human rights of vulnerable groups.

He is the Secretary general/Vice President and Cofounder of “Sudanese Artists Association Doha”, and Sudanese Plastic Artists Union.

He participated in many international workshops & Arts Symposium and had exhibitions in Sudan, USA, Egypt, Morocco, Germany, Romania, Qatar, Haiti, and Croatia. Many of his artworks are collec- tions by institutions and private individuals in several countries.
