Introduction

 

Bachelor of Fine Arts with a Major in Sculpture at the University Finis Terrae. There, receives the "Diploma of Honor" and "Certificate of Merit" for outstanding performance in the Faculty of Arts.
Since 1997 he has received awards and scholarships at national and International levels, with the Friends of Art Scholarship, Fondart (twice), Ministry of Public Works MOP (4 times), Ministry of Housing and Urban Development, The Grand Lodge of Chile, the Municipality of Coquimbo and, most importantly, Honorable Mention in the International Competition, "2008 Olympic Landscape Sculpture Design Contest" for the XXIX Olympic Games, Beijing, China; Award granted by AICA (International Association of Art Critics), Santiago, Chile and Altazor Award nominee 2014 (Award artists), Chile.

Conducted to date nine solo exhibitions in Chile, has also appeared in over sixty exhibitions in galleries, museums and art fairs throughout Chile, Canada, Peru, Bolivia, Croatia, Romania, Czech Republic, Poland, Turkey, Hungary, Greece, Mexico, United States, China, England, Spain, Russia, France, Switzerland, Italy, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Korea and Iran.

 

He has participated in Sculpture Symposia in Chile, Peru, Canada, Mexico, Turkey, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Iran and China. And has 25 works in Public Spaces in Chile and abroad.

Organized the First Sculpture Symposium in Maipú Chile-Argentina 2012 (Marble and Steel), the First Sculpture Symposium in Las Condes 2014 “La ciudad” (the city) (Steel), the Second International Sculpture Symosium “Nuestros Parques” 2015 (Marble), the Second International Sculpture Symosium “Patagónico" in Puerto Natales 2016 (Wood and Granite), First Sculpture Symposium in Lo Barnechea 2016 (Marble and Steel), ), the Thierd International Sculpture Symosium “Nuestros Parques” 2016 (Marble), the Fourth International Sculpture Symosium “Nuestros Parques” 2017 (Marble), all of this in Chile
